Ouroboros is found in ancient Gnosticism and Alchemy representing cycles and the fusion of opposites. It also represents the transcendence of duality and is related to the solar God Abraxas and signifies eternity and the soul of the world.
It also is an ancient symbol that represents the Milky Way. It's the Serpent of Light residing in the heavens.
So, I created a healing salve created to represent the alchemist in us: Ouroboros. A symbol of unity, healing, cyclical overturn of the self. This salve is created to not only help the user through working with their shadow self in all of its facets, but also as a healing salve. To have both of these qualities in your offering as you work brings peace and focus. Not to be confused for an ointment, salves are typically softer than balms and harder than traditional ointments. They will absorb deeply into the skin and are frequently infused with herbs to treat wounds and sores.
